Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Naresh Kumar Solankhi, who serves patients in Louisville, Kentucky.

As a highly trained cardiologist with years of experience, Dr. Solankhi’s areas of interest include interventional cardiology, TAVR, structural heart disease, and clinical trials. He sees patients at UofL Health – Abraham Flexner Outpatient Center & UofL Health – Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. The doctor’s journey into medicine began after he obtained his medical degree from the Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in India in 1989. Upon relocating to the United States, he went on to perform his residency in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Dr. Solankhi completed his fellowship in cardiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. He then completed his fellowship in interventional cardiology at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia. In regards to his noteworthy accomplishments, he is board-certified in internal medicine,  cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Dr. Solankhi is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC).
